RAMCO is only available to REALTOR® associations and REALTOR®-owned MLSs.
We operate on a strictly first-come, first-served basis based on your application date. However, within that framework, we’ll work with you to determine the best possible window for data conversion, staff training and system configuration. As an initiative created and led by REALTOR® AEs, we are very aware how the timing of this kind of project can be affected by other events, e.g. dues billing cycles, MLS or lock box conversions, office relocations, changes in key staff, etc.
Once implementation begins, the actual time required depends on the complexity of the installation, with most installations requiring around 12-16 weeks. For example, those with custom-built or “niche” systems will require more time for data conversion than those with known “standard” systems such as Rapattoni, MMSI, LAMPS, iMIS or Avectra; whereas those using a NRDS download to populate their systems take much less time .
The staff’s self-paced online training is also scheduled so that it can be accomplished over a 6-8 week period in weekly installments since the organization’s normal work must continue.
How long after you apply can you expect to start implementation? While RAMCO experienced an initial backlog of installations shortly after it’s launch in 2011, those have now been worked through and new applicants can expect to be able to start their implementation within 60 days after RAMCO receives their application and deposit.
In addition to completing the application (see below), you must submit a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% your one-time implementation fees.
